This Privacy Policy explains how Semen Shorin (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use l-people stories (the “App”) and our website at stories.l-people.ru.
l-people stories is a children’s story generation app for families. The App allows families to create household profiles, generate and read stories, personalize stories with optional child profiles, photos, pets, toys, and voice features, and purchase subscriptions or credit packs through our website.
1. Parent, guardian, or household admin responsibility
The App is designed for children to use with permission and supervision from a parent, legal guardian, or authorized adult household admin.
Accounts must be created and managed by a parent, legal guardian, or another adult authorized to manage the household.
Children may use the App only as household members or child profiles under the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
The household admin is responsible for managing child profiles, content guardrails, personalization settings, uploads, purchases, subscriptions, and account deletion.
2. Information we collect
We collect information needed to provide, personalize, secure, and improve the App.
Account information
We may collect:
- email address;
- password authentication information;
- account ID;
- login and account status information;
- household/admin role information.
Household and member information
The household admin may create household members and child profiles.
Depending on what the household admin provides, this may include:
- child name or nickname;
- age or age range;
- profile settings;
- story preferences;
- reading preferences;
- content guardrails or restrictions;
- approved secondary characters, such as pets, toys, imaginary characters, family members, or friends;
- optional photos;
- optional pet photos;
- optional voice recordings or voice samples.
The household admin should not add unnecessary sensitive information, such as a child’s full legal name, home address, school name, phone number, precise location, medical information, or other private details.
Photos, voice, and uploaded content
The App may allow users to take, select, upload, or propose photos, pet photos, toy photos, drawings, or voice recordings for story personalization.
Photos or voice recordings of real people, including children, friends, siblings, classmates, or family members, may only be uploaded, submitted, or approved by a parent, legal guardian, or authorized household admin.
A child may propose a photo or character only where the App allows this. Proposed photos or recordings should not be used for generation or sent to AI providers until approved by the household admin.
Uploaded photos, pet photos, toy photos, drawings, and voice recordings may be processed by our systems and service providers to provide personalization features.
Story and generated content information
We may collect and store:
- story prompts;
- selected story settings;
- generated stories;
- generated images;
- generated voice or audio;
- saved stories;
- story history;
- content selected, opened, or read in the App.
If the household admin enables personalization, generated stories may include approved child profile details, names or nicknames, uploaded photos, pet photos, toy photos, approved secondary characters, or voice features.
Usage and recommendation information
We use an in-house analytics and recommendation system.
We may collect:
- screens visited in the App;
- stories opened or read;
- interactions with recommendations;
- feature usage;
- app settings and preferences;
- generation and reading history.
We use this information to operate the App, provide recommendations, maintain safety, understand feature usage, and improve the user experience.
We do not use this information for third-party advertising.
Purchase information
Purchases are completed on our website at stories.l-people.ru and processed by YooMoney or other payment providers shown at checkout.
We may collect:
- product purchased;
- subscription or credit pack information;
- purchase amount and currency;
- purchase date;
- payment status;
- order ID or payment reference;
- checkout session ID;
- external purchase token where required by Apple’s external purchase process.
We do not store full payment card numbers.
Support information
If you contact support, we may collect:

- support messages;
- purchase or account details needed to solve the issue;
- attachments or screenshots you choose to provide;
- reason selected in the support form.
Technical and diagnostic information
We use in-house crash reporting and diagnostics.

We do not sell personal information.
We do not use third-party advertising in the App.
We do not use behavioral advertising.
We do not use advertising identifiers for tracking.
We do not use cross-app or cross-site tracking for advertising.
We do not intentionally collect precise location, contacts, or unrelated sensitive information.
4. How we use information
We use information to:
- create and manage accounts;
- provide household admin and member features;
- create and manage child profiles;
- provide parental or household guardrails;
- generate stories, images, and voice/audio content;
- save generated stories;
- personalize stories when enabled by the household admin;
- recommend stories;
- manage subscriptions and credit packs;
- process website purchases and add credits or subscription access to the correct account;
- provide support;
- send transactional emails, such as password reset, account, purchase, subscription, security, and service messages;
- prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access;
- diagnose crashes and technical problems;
- improve safety, quality, and performance;
- comply with legal, tax, accounting, payment, and App Store requirements.
We do not send marketing emails.
5. AI-generated content and AI service providers
The App uses artificial intelligence to generate text, images, and voice/audio content.
We may use AI service providers, including OpenAI and DeepSeek, to process prompts and generate requested content.
Depending on the feature used, information sent to AI service providers may include:
- story prompts;
- story settings;
- approved child profile details if personalization is enabled;
- uploaded images if image personalization is enabled;
- voice recordings or voice samples if voice features are enabled.
We use reasonable efforts to limit information sent to AI providers to what is needed for the requested feature.
Parents, legal guardians, and household admins should not enter or upload unnecessary personal information. Do not enter a child’s full legal name, home address, school, phone number, medical information, precise location, or other sensitive information.
6. Children’s privacy
l-people stories is intended for children and families. Because children may use the App, we take children’s privacy seriously.
Accounts must be created and managed by a parent, legal guardian, or authorized adult household admin.
The household admin may:
- create and manage child profiles;
- invite and manage household members;
- set guardrails or restrictions;
- choose whether to enable personalization;
- approve or reject proposed photos or characters;
- choose whether to upload photos, pet photos, toy photos, drawings, or voice recordings;
- delete generated stories;
- delete uploaded content where available;
- initiate account deletion;
- contact us about privacy questions.
Children should not independently create accounts, make purchases, upload photos or voice recordings of real people, change privacy settings, or open external payment links without permission and supervision from a parent, legal guardian, or household admin.
Parents, legal guardians, and household admins may contact us at s3menchyk@yandex.ru to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information associated with their account, household, or child profiles.
7. Secondary characters and real-person photos
The App may allow users to create secondary characters for stories, such as pets, toys, imaginary characters, family members, or friends.
Children may create non-identifying characters, such as pets, toys, drawings, or imaginary characters, where the App allows this.
Photos or voice recordings of real people, including children, friends, siblings, classmates, or family members, may only be uploaded, submitted, or approved by a parent, legal guardian, or authorized household admin.
By approving or uploading a photo or voice recording of a real person, the household admin confirms that they have the necessary permission to use it for story personalization.
8. Purchases and external checkout
Subscriptions and credit packs are purchased on our website at stories.l-people.ru.
When a purchase is started, we create a checkout session so we can identify which account should receive the purchased subscription or credits.
We use checkout information only to complete the purchase, provide support, prevent fraud, keep records, and comply with applicable requirements.
We do not use checkout sessions for advertising tracking.
9. Cookies and website technologies
Our website may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary to:
- keep a checkout session secure;
- remember checkout status;
- process payment;
- prevent fraud;
- operate the website.
We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting cookies, or cross-site advertising tracking in the checkout flow.
10. Sharing information
We may share information with service providers that help us operate the App and website, including:
- hosting and database providers;
- AI generation providers;
- payment processors, including YooMoney;
- email delivery providers for transactional emails;
- infrastructure, security, diagnostics, and support providers.
Service providers may process information only as needed to provide services to us, comply with law, prevent abuse, or protect their systems.
We may also share information if required by law, to protect users, to prevent fraud or abuse, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
11. Data storage and international transfers
Our servers and database are located in the European Union.
Some service providers may process information in other countries where they operate.
By using the App, you understand that information may be processed outside Russia, including in the European Union and other countries.
12. Data retention
We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Examples:
- account information is kept while the account is active;
- household and child profile information is kept until deleted by the household admin or until the account is deleted;
- generated stories may be kept until deleted by the user or until the account is deleted;
- uploaded photos, pet photos, toy photos, drawings, and voice recordings may be kept until deleted by the household admin or until the account is deleted;
- purchase and payment records may be kept as required for legal, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and App Store compliance;
- support messages may be kept for a reasonable time to handle follow-up questions;
- crash and diagnostic logs are kept for a limited time needed to maintain and improve the App.
13. Account, story, and upload deletion
Users can delete generated stories in the App.
Users can initiate account deletion in the App.
Where available, household admins can delete child profiles, uploaded photos, voice recordings, and other personalization materials.
When an account is deleted, we delete or anonymize account information and associated content, except where we need to keep certain records for legal, tax, accounting, payment, fraud prevention, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.
14. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including access controls, authentication, encryption in transit where appropriate, and limited internal access.
No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
15. User and parent rights
Depending on applicable law, users, parents, legal guardians, and household admins may have rights to:
- access information;
- correct information;
- delete information;
- restrict or object to processing;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- request information about how data is used.
